Overview We are seeking a dedicated Per diem Attorney to provide flexible, high-quality legal services across a variety of practice areas. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters, supporting our legal team with expert analysis, research, and drafting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a broad knowledge of multiple legal disciplines. This position is paid and perfect for experienced attorneys seeking a flexible schedule to contribute their expertise on an as-needed basis.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Assist in case preparation by organizing evidence, reviewing case files, and summarizing key information
- Provide expert advice on a wide array of practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, landlord-tenant law, and more
- Support negotiations by analyzing legal risks and drafting settlement agreements or other transactional documents
- Maintain accurate records of all research activities and document drafts in the law office management system
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely completion of assignments and adherence to legal standards
Skills
- Proven experience in multiple legal disciplines such as estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, patent law, landlord-tenant law
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms to gather relevant case law and statutory information
- Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively negotiate terms and resolve complex legal issues
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes within a busy law office environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw for efficient case analysis
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Pay: $75.00 - $115.00 per hour
