About this role
Job Summary
A respected Texas-based law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its Fort Worth office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions within a collaborative and fast-paced practice environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong transactional skills, excellent drafting and communication abilities, and the capacity to independently manage substantive real estate responsibilities while working closely with clients and senior attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
- Draft and review commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and related transaction documents.
- Assist with transactional due diligence, including title and survey review.
- Prepare and coordinate closing documents and transaction deliverables.
- Conduct legal research and analyze real estate and transactional law issues.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and clients on transaction strategy and execution.
- Maintain direct client interaction and provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
- Manage multiple active transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative real estate practice group.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school required.
- Active Texas Bar admission required and must be in good standing.
- 1–3 years of commercial real estate transactional experience required.
- Experience drafting commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements preferred.
- Experience reviewing title and survey materials preferred.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment required.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail required.
- Strong academic credentials required.
