Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and organize legal documents related to residential real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, title reports, deeds, and closing statements
- Coordinate with lenders, title companies, escrow officers, and clients to facilitate seamless closings
- Manage document review processes and ensure all necessary documentation complies with legal standards and client requirements
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance document review, workflow efficiency, and transaction accuracy
- Assist with escrow account management and disbursement of funds during closings
- Support attorneys with legal research on real estate regulations, zoning laws, environmental considerations, and other pertinent topics
Skills
- Proven paralegal experience with a focus on real estate law or residential closings
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, filing, data entry, and file management
- Interest in or willingness to learn and work with AI-driven tools shaping the future of legal services
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and coordinating with external parties
- Proficiency in Softpro Select, Microsoft Office, and other industry software
- Ability to proofread documents meticulously and perform transcription accurately
- Strong phone etiquette combined with a professional demeanor in client interactions
