We’re offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated Legal Secretary to support our Admin Hub in either our Glasgow, Leeds or Hull office. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to join a professional yet welcoming organisation and grow their career in a dynamic, supportive environment.
As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive secretarial support to ensure the smooth running of our legal team’s operations. You’ll use your initiative and organisational skills to support the teams in achieving business objectives, while also always ensuring the provision of a personal and professional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- General secretarial duties, including audio typing
- Liaising with clients, Counsel, and external contacts
- Routine admin tasks: printing, scanning, photocopying, preparing bundles, managing post
- Monitoring inboxes and supporting case management
- Time recording, file opening/closing/archiving
- Maintaining stationery/equipment levels
- Occasional front-of-house duties
What we are looking for:
- Previous secretarial experience, ideally in a legal setting
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
- RSA Level 2 – typing (or equivalent)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with case management systems (Proclaim and Salesforce) a plus
