About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Lawyer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on regulatory compliance, legal research, policy interpretation, risk assessment, governance frameworks, and compliance-related workflows.

In this role, you will review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to compliance programs, regulatory requirements, corporate governance, risk management, internal controls, and legal documentation. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for compliance intelligence, regulatory analysis, legal operations, and enterprise risk management.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing common compliance and regulatory scenarios
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated compliance, governance, and legal outputs
• Assess AI responses for regulatory accuracy, legal reasoning, completeness, and consistency
• Review compliance policies, governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk assessments
• Identify compliance risks, regulatory gaps, control weaknesses, and interpretation errors in AI-generated solutions
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in compliance and legal workflows
• Support projects involving regulatory research, policy analysis, compliance monitoring, and governance frameworks
• Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on legal compliance and regulatory intelligence

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification
• 2–7 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate law, risk management, governance, or related legal functions
• Experience working with law firms, compliance teams, regulatory bodies, consulting firms, financial institutions, or corporate legal departments
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and legal research
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, internal controls, regulatory reporting, and policy interpretation
• Ability to evaluate legal and compliance-related content for accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and reasoning skills
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Experience with compliance audits, regulatory reviews, policy development, or governance programs is preferred
