PI Pre-Lit Paralegal - $65,000 Salary

Rack Law Group is a Personal Injury law firm located in Phoenix (Biltmore area). The firm focuses on car accident, slip and fall, and wrongful death cases, and is seeking 2 full-time paralegals.

Compensation:

· $65,000 + Bonus

Qualifications, Responsibilities, Skills/Requirements:

In order to adequately perform the tasks requested, this position will require the candidate to possess the following qualifications, responsibilities, and skills/requirements:

Qualifications:

· At least 3 years of experience with Plaintiff Personal Injury cases

· Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)

· Extremely proficient in handling the below Responsibilities

· Possess the below Skills/Requirements

· Civil litigation experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

· Manage a full case load and assist attorney with case management

· Make case-related calls pertaining to new and existing clients, extensively update all clients within case-load on a bi-weekly basis, and track case progress

· Open new claims with insurance companies and extensively communicate with insurance adjusters and medical providers

· Handle property damage

· Request, retrieve, and organize medical records, medical bills, police reports, etc…

· Thoroughly organize and index client files and documents

· Draft and file letters (as well as all forms and paperwork related to claims) to clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters

· Draft general office paperwork pertaining to individual client-specific casework

· Thoroughly maintain client records by reviewing case notes, logging events and progress in firm’s case management system, and updating attorney with monthly client progress

· Draft demand letters, handle subrogation, and draft settlement statements

Skills/Requirements:

· Excellent organization skills, with a high attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

· Strong ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks, with ability to function in a fast pace, independent work environment

· Strong time management skills

· Effective planning and execution ability
