Associate Attorney

Summary A growing law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation , with experience in bankruptcy and/or transactional matters considered a plus. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering hands-on experience with a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, memoranda, and legal correspondence.
• Advise clients and develop effective legal strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, hearings, and negotiations.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to provide high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• 1-5 years of attorney experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Bankruptcy and/or transactional law experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research skills using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent legal writing, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: based on experience.
