Title: Associate Attorney (Hybrid or Remote in Virginia)

Salary: $75,000–115,000 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Manage a docket of personal injury matters from intake through resolution or trial
• Lead client communication throughout the litigation process
• Conduct hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case strategy
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff on litigation strategy and case development
• Be an advocate for clients through effective courtroom presentation and legal writing
• Contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team environment
• Participate in jury trials, which are often scheduled over two or more consecutive days

Requirements:

• 0+ years of experience, with a strong interest in personal injury law
• Must have sat for the bar in VA and waiting for results, if not yet barred in VA
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
• An ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating with a team
• An excellent judgment, professionalism, and client communication skills
• If working remotely outside of Lynchburg, must be willing to attend court in Lynchburg approximately 2–3 times per month and attend one monthly team meeting in the Lynchburg office monthly

Bonus Experience:

• 1+ year of experience as an Associate Attorney with courtroom experience
• An active Virginia State Bar license in good standing
• Experience in personal injury
