About this role

Constellation Search Group is seeking an Associate Attorney for a full-time direct hire position. The Associate Attorney will join a thriving Real Estate Law practice, focusing on managing and negotiating various commercial real estate transactions. This role is ideal for candidates licensed in Colorado with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a strong client service orientation. An existing book of business is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the review and negotiation of commercial leases for office, warehouse, and retail properties.
  • Oversee commercial acquisitions and dispositions, including detailed reviews and negotiations of titles and surveys.
  • Draft covenants and legal documentation related to commercial development, land use, and complex real estate transactions.
  • Apply expertise in land use, multi/planned use development, and entitlement work to support ongoing projects.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Collaborate creatively and with latitude to accomplish goals, under general supervision of a partner or senior attorney.
  • Utilize excellent drafting and analytical skills to develop and implement legal strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Operate as a professional and proactive attorney, ensuring all matters are addressed with a well-informed approach.
  • Execute projects efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant real estate experience.
  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • A commitment to a long-term career and a client-first mindset.
  • Willingness to put in extra effort based on client priorities.
  • Enthusiastic about high achievement and actively engaging with colleagues.
  • Adaptable and responsive to the dynamic environment of a growing firm.
  • A team player with a "no task too small" attitude.
