Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Solo Practitioner Attorney to independently manage a diverse legal practice across multiple areas of law ( Family, Criminal, and civil). This role offers the opportunity to serve clients with professionalism, agility, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a broad spectrum of legal matters, providing expert guidance, and ensuring comprehensive client representation. You will operate as the sole attorney within your practice, managing all aspects of casework from initial consultation through resolution, while maintaining high standards of legal excellence and client service.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload across various legal disciplines including Family, Criminal, and Civil.
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and legal drafting.
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Provide clear legal advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances while explaining complex legal concepts in an understandable manner.
- Maintain meticulous records of all case activities, correspondence, and documentation within the law office management system.
- Stay current on evolving laws and regulations relevant to your practice areas through ongoing research and professional development.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation procedures, and patent law.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for comprehensive legal analysis.
- Excellent legal drafting and writing skills to produce clear pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Effective negotiation abilities to resolve disputes amicably or favorably for clients.
- Legal administrative experience managing case files, scheduling hearings or meetings, and tracking deadlines within a busy law office environment.
- Superior communication skills to articulate complex legal issues confidently to clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as a solo practitioner while managing multiple priorities efficiently. Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
