Key Responsibilities

• Independently review, draft, and revise Japanese-language contracts and legal documents; provide bilingual (Japanese-English) translations when required
• Support the Group Head of Legal in licensing applications, regulatory inquiries, and compliance matters in Japan
• Responsible for litigation and dispute resolution matters, including coordination with external counsel
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and risk assessments to the Japan business team to support sustainable growth
• Collaborate with legal teams across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and other regions on global projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, with formal legal education in Japan
• 1-5 (open to discuss) years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house experience preferred)
• Qualification as a Japanese lawyer (admitted to the bar) is a plus
• Japanese proficiency and good command of English
• No industry limits
