We are looking for a detail-oriented and legally sound professional with strong drafting and documentation skills to support the Legal, Secretarial, and Compliance functions across the Group's businesses, including E-commerce, Insurance Broking, NBFC, and Fintech entities.

The role requires hands-on experience in legal drafting, contract management, corporate compliance coordination, and secretarial support while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Drafting & Documentation

  • Draft, review, vet, and negotiate agreements, contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements, employment contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare legal notices, replies, representations, affidavits, declarations, and corporate correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support on contractual, regulatory, and business matters.
  • Maintain and manage legal documentation repositories and contract trackers.

Secretarial & Corporate Compliance

  • Assist in conducting Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings.
  • Draft notices, agendas, board resolutions, minutes, and maintain statutory registers.
  • Support ROC filings, corporate governance documentation, and Companies Act compliances.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and regulatory authorities for compliance-related matters.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor and track compliance requirements across group entities.
  • Maintain compliance calendars, trackers, and statutory records.
  • Support regulatory filings and documentation with ROC, RBI, IRDAI, and other authorities as applicable.
  • Assist in implementation of policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

Litigation & Legal Coordination

  • Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and legal counsels.
  • Assist in handling legal notices, disputes, and litigation documentation.
  • Track ongoing legal matters and ensure timely follow-up and closure.

Audit & Governance Support

  • Support internal, statutory, secretarial, and regulatory audits.
  • Prepare compliance MIS reports and management updates.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records and supporting documents for audit purposes.

Desired Skills

  • Strong legal drafting and contract review skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Companies Act, Corporate Laws, and Secretarial Practices.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to NBFCs, Insurance Broking, Fintech, and E-commerce businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience

  • LL.B. from a recognized university (Mandatory).
  • Semi Qualified Company Secretary (Executive/Professional Programme completed or pursuing final stages).
  • 1–4 years of experience in Legal, Secretarial, or Compliance functions.
  • Prior experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, NBFC, Fintech, Insurance Broking, or E-commerce company will be preferred.
