Company Description ICLC – Indian Corporate Law Chambers is a not-for-profit initiative focused on strengthening India’s business ecosystem through free legal aid, compliance support, and corporate governance enablement. The organization primarily serves MSMEs, startups, family-owned businesses, early-stage enterprises, and socially driven organizations that lack access to structured legal assistance. ICLC offers services such as free corporate legal aid, compliance guidance, governance support, document drafting assistance, legal literacy programs, and ethical dispute resolution. By addressing gaps in legal awareness, compliance systems, and access to affordable advisory, ICLC aims to ensure that no organization fails due to avoidable legal or governance issues. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Associate role based in Noida. The Legal Associate will support corporate and commercial matters, including legal research, analysis of statutory and regulatory requirements, and preparation of opinions and internal notes. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and compliance-related filings for MSMEs, startups, and other client organizations. The role involves assisting with compliance audits, corporate governance frameworks, and documentation to help organizations remain legally secure and well-structured. The Legal Associate will also contribute to legal literacy initiatives, workshops, and CSR-aligned projects, and may interact with clients, partners, and external stakeholders under the guidance of senior legal professionals.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of corporate, commercial, and compliance-related legal frameworks.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and structuring contracts, policies, and governance documents.
• Excellent Analytical Skills and ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and judicial precedents to provide clear, practical guidance.
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, conduct legal literacy sessions, and prepare concise legal summaries.
• Ability to identify, assess, and address Legal Issues relevant to MSMEs, startups, social enterprises, and CSR-driven initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. or specialization in corporate/commercial law is an advantage.
• Prior internship or work experience in corporate law, compliance, or advisory environments is preferred.
• Strong ethical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to pro bono and impact-driven legal work.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a structured, professional setting and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
