About this role

KBR is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Legal Operations Specialist to support the operational efficiency of the legal department. This role focuses on invoice processing, settlement requests, procurement workflows, vendor onboarding, and travel expense reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and Procurement across multiple time zones. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing & Financial Operations Review, validate, and process legal department invoices in accordance with company policies Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure proper coding and compliance Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments with Accounts Payable Assist in reporting on legal spend, budget tracking, and forecasting Handle P-Card purchases and reconciliations Support month-end accruals and reclassifications as required Settlement Requests Coordinate internal approvals and documentation for legal settlement payments Track and report on settlement activity for tax reporting purposes Procurement & Vendor Management Initiate and manage procurement requests for legal services and tools Coordinate with internal attorneys for Outside Counsel engagement Onboard non-PO legal vendors in ERP and e-billing systems Travel & Expense Reporting Process travel expense reports for legal team members Ensure compliance with company travel policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field Minimum 4 years of experience in legal operations or finance/accounting Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint) Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and handle sensitive matters with discretion Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work under tight timelines Flexible regarding work hours, remote vs office arrangements, and shift requirements
