Tax Attorney (US Tax Law) | $75/hr Remote

Position: Tax Professional (EA / CPA)

Compensation: $55 - $75/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language including conditions, thresholds, AND/OR logic, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate the English translation of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide comprehensive, structured written feedback within a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve uncertainties.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of changes in US tax law and communicate critical updates to the team.

Requirements

• Be credentialed as an Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Tax Attorney.
• Possess exceptional logical reasoning and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Have strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience delivering actionable feedback.
