Director - Legal Data Centre

DAMAC Digital is developing hyperscale data centre infrastructure across the GCC. We are building the legal function to match — and this is the role that owns it commercially.

The Role

You will be the primary legal counsel for DAMAC Digital's data centre business. You will negotiate colocation deals directly with Hyperscalers, lead power purchase and utility supply agreements, and own contract risk across development, operation, and delivery of data centre services — with full exposure to Board and senior leadership.

What You Will Own

• Colocation and Hyperscaler agreements — SLA, liability, exit terms
• Power purchase and utility supply negotiations across jurisdictions
• Commercial contract review and red-line across the full data centre lifecycle
• Board-level legal reporting and risk briefings
• External counsel management across commercial, land, and regulatory matters
• Legal policy implementation specific to data centre operations

What You Bring

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent, common law preferred
• 8+ years PQE with a data centre or infrastructure asset focus
• Hands-on Hyperscaler colocation negotiation experience
• Working knowledge of PPAs and utility supply contracts
• Multi-jurisdiction exposure — GCC experience a strong advantage
