Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant

Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant sought for law office (estate planning, probate, and business law) in Safety Harbor, Florida. The position is part time (Monday through Friday 4-5 hours per day starting at 9:00 a.m.).

Due to the diverse needs of a law firm, applicant will need to be comfortable with financial matters as well as preparation of legal correspondence and documents.

Applicant must be a strong typist (not less than 60 words per minute), knowledge of how to draft professional business correspondence, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe, possess an excellent knowledge of the English language including spelling (not just using "spell-check"), punctuation, grammar, etc.

In addition, applicant must be completely comfortable working math and calculations.

Applicant must possess and present a professional appearance and demeanor, cheerful disposition, with a positive and enthusiastic outlook on life, and be confident and articulate, as duties may include attending occasional networking events with sales professionals. Please be organized, efficient and a motivated self-starter. We maintain a positive, happy office atmosphere, so drama from your personal life, if any, will not be tolerated in the office.

If you are proficient at using Constant Contact (or equivalent), and using social media for marketing purposes (beyond merely posting comments on Facebook or LinkedIn), that would be a plus, but not required.

Bonus points for a former legal secretary, paralegal, or financial sales assistant (especially with a Series 6 or 7).

Hourly salary @ $20.00/hour. Sorry, benefits are not offered beyond the hourly salary.
