Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our Employment Team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Nevada labor law, is passionate about fighting for employee rights, and is comfortable working within a fast-paced plaintiff-side litigation team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
  • 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law or civil rights
  • Familiarity with Nevada labor and employment statutes, wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and PAGA-like actions
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client relationships
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing deadlines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct legal research and draft demand letters, complaints, and other employment-related pleadings (e.g., wrongful termination, wage and hour, harassment, discrimination)
  • Propounding and responding to discovery
  • Preparing for and attending depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
  • Drafting oppositions to motions for summary judgment, motions to compel, etc.
  • Appear in Nevada state and/or federal courts for hearings, case management conferences, and motions
  • Develop case strategies in coordination with the Managing Attorney
  • Evaluate and calculate damages related to unpaid wages, emotional distress, and punitive claims
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and manage expectations throughout the litigation process
  • Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff to ensure case deadlines and procedural rules are met

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
