Paralegal/Legal Assistant, Arts & Education Division
The Office of the Attorney General seeks a paralegal or legal assistant to support four attorneys within its Arts & Education Division. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys engaged in civil litigation practice; experience or familiarity with electronic filing in West Virginia circuit courts and appellate courts; experience with document management systems such as Worldox, Law Base, and/or Filevine; proficiency in Microsoft Word; experience with calendaring deadlines, coordination with clients and witnesses for hearings, and drafting correspondence; familiarity with uniform rules of citation and organization of appellate briefs and appendices for filing; and related secretarial support such as answering and directing phone calls, ordering supplies, and completing travel reimbursement requests.
