Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

The Law Office of Cohen & Jaffe, LLP, a vibrant personal injury law firm located in western Long Island, NY, is seeking to hire a dedicated and professional personal injury paralegal with a minimum of two years of recent experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting one or more assigned attorneys. Key duties include handling personal injury cases from inception through trials, involving tasks such as drafting:

• summonses and complaints,
• bills of particulars,
• discovery documents,
• notes of issue,
• motions, and subpoenas.

This role requires an individual with a proven track record; it is not suitable for someone in the early stages of their career.

Candidates without plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience and the required writing skills will not be considered.

Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish (a plus)
• Reliable transportation to and from the office (not accessible by bus or train)
• Work hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• Hybrid schedule available after 4-5 weeks of accommodation

Terms of Employment: The PI Paralegal will be employed at the will of the company, and continued employment is contingent on satisfactory performance.
