This role requires expertise in litigation procedures, document management, and case preparation from onset through post\-trial. Extensive experience in litigation support and proficiency with relevant software are essential. Demonstrates professionalism, technical savvy and ability to handle multiple priorities and work in an organized, efficient manner at any given time. This candidate should be flexible to work overtime as needed.\</p\>\<p\>\</p\>\<p\>\<b\>Key Responsibilities:\</b\>\</p\>\<ul\>\<li\>\<p\>Drafts and files legal documents such as briefs, complaints, motions, subpoenas, and summonses utilizing firm templates and attorney\-provided information\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Supports the discovery process by preparing for depositions, drafting, and responding to written discovery requests, and assisting with expert discovery preparation\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Manages and conducts document reviews; prepares documentation regarding criteria changes; tracks and reports on review progress and results\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Assists with trial preparation, including creating trial notebooks, identifying and organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, maintaining trial calendars, and communicating effectively with opposing counsel and courtroom staff\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Track deadlines, court dates, and regulatory filing requirements to ensure compliance (together with ProLaw)\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Performs and oversees both simple and complex cite checking and proof reading of briefs and other legal documents\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Conducts research and utilizes legal technology tools for e\-discovery and case management\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Coordinates multi\-document filings in Federal, Circuit and State courts, including E\-filings\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Drafts general correspondence, memoranda, and reports from various sources ensuring final documents are accurate and clear; delivers correspondence and documentation promptly via appropriate methods\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Manages scheduling and travel arrangements, including court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, client meetings, and conference calls; coordinates business itineraries; processes travel reimbursements and maintains attorneys’ calendars and due dates\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Establishes and maintains organized filing systems and records in both physical and electronic formats\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Enters attorneys’ billable time and submits to accounting by monthly deadlines\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Supports administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, assembling exhibit binders, and preparing shipping labels and certified mailings\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Sorts and reviews incoming mail and documents; answers phone calls and directs inquiries to appropriate personnel\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Provides assistance with other departmental activities as needed and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned\</p\>\</li\>\</ul\>\<p\>\</p\>\<p\>\<b\>Qualifications: \</b\>\</p\>\<p\>\<u\>\<i\>Skills \&amp; Competencies\</i\>\</u\>\</p\>\<ul\>\<li\>\<p\>Exceptional organization, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills, and ability to manage time effectively.\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Ability to maintain high standards, use good judgment and seek out ways to contribute and anticipate needs\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Excellent interpersonal skills, advanced communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate well in a team\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information\</p\>\</li\>\</ul\>\<p\>\</p\>\<p\>\<i\>\<u\>Education \&amp; Prior Experience\</u\>\</i\>\</p\>\<ul\>\<li\>\<p\>5\&\#43; years of litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm setting\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Established understanding of securities or financial litigation preferred\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Knowledge of FINRA, JAMS and AAA procedures and electronic filing systems\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Ability to work independently and within a team required\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures or agency rules of assigned practice group/dept. (ex. State and Federal court filing, including e\-filings)\</p\>\</li\>\</ul\>\<p\>\</p\>\<p\>\<u\>\<i\>Technology\</i\>\</u\>\</p\>\<ul\>\<li\>\<p\>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, as well as document management and other office technologies\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Experience with document management and e\-discovery platforms\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment\</p\>\</li\>\<li\>\<p\>Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovation\</p\>\</li\>\</ul\>\\</p\>\\</p\>\The expected pay range for this position is:\</p\>\<p\>$47\.28 to\<span\> \</span\>\<span\> $\</span\>52\.21 per hour\<span\> \</span\>\</p\>\\</p\>\Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job\-related factors permitted by law.
