Overview We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented RTA Fee Earner to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personal injury claims related to road traffic accidents, ensuring efficient case progression and excellent client service. This role offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment, supporting clients through complex legal processes while maintaining high standards of organisation and communication.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of small RTA (Road Traffic Accident) personal injury claims from inception to conclusion
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information
- Preparing and submitting legal documents accurately and within deadlines.
- Conducting case assessments and advising clients on their rights and options
- Keeping detailed records of case progress and correspondence using case management systems
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures, regulations, and company policies
- Assisting with the preparation of court bundles and other legal documentation as required
- Maintaining high levels of client communication, providing updates and answering queries promptly
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant programmes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly
- Fluency in English with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively whilst maintaining accuracy under pressure
