About this role
This role is based within our Nottingham office on a 6-month fixed term contract. As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive support to your group, working alongside colleagues within the fee earning team. You will assist with various administrative tasks whilst maintaining and ensuring operational excellence in line with our internal processes and legal requirements. Additionally, you will support and liaise with internal business services teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of documents and presentations
- Assisting with the preparation and dispatch of correspondence
- Preparation of standard reporting letters
- Fee earner diary management
- Managing case files and associated documents, including management of electronic records
- Preparation of internal forms
- Preparation of reports
- Booking of internal and external meetings
- Planning and arranging case-related travel and accommodation
- Collating and submitting expenses
- Providing general assistance to fee earners and other support staff
Skills and Competencies
Essential
- Previous secretarial or legal administrative experience
- Microsoft 365
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High ethical standards
Desirable
- Demonstrable experience as an IP Paralegal
- CIPA qualification
