⚖️ Role 1: Head of Legal

🎓 Experience: 12+ Years PQE

✅ Key Requirements

🔹 Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)

🔹 Strong expertise in Commercial Law, Contract Drafting & Negotiation

🔹 Extensive experience in Corporate Governance, Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

🔹 Ability to advise senior leadership and independently manage complex legal matters

🔹 Experience within Retail, Energy, Convenience Retail, Digital, or Property sectors is advantageous

📌 Key Responsibilities

▪️ Serve as the primary legal advisor to senior leadership

▪️ Lead legal support across commercial, operational, property, regulatory, and corporate matters

▪️ Oversee governance, compliance, legal risk management, and external counsel relationships

▪️ Support strategic initiatives across Business Development, Operations, Digitalisation, HR, Finance, and procurement.

⚖️ Role 2: Legal Counsel

🎓 Experience: 3–8 Years PQE

✅ Key Requirements

🔹 Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), CILEx, or Trainee-Level Qualified Lawyer

🔹 Experience in Commercial Contracts, Property Law, and/or Regulatory Compliance

🔹 Strong drafting, contract review, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

🔹 Previous In-House Legal experience is desirable but not essential

📌 Key Responsibilities

▪️ Provide day-to-day legal support to Retail business teams

▪️ Draft and negotiate Dealer Agreements, CLDO/COCO Agreements, Service Contracts, NDAs, and MOUs

▪️ Support property and real estate matters, including leases, renewals, and due diligence activities

▪️ Assist with governance, compliance, dispute management, and coordination with external legal counsel
