Civil Litigation Solicitor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solicitor to join our busy and growing Litigation Department.

Working on a wide range of personal injury matters for both Plaintiffs and Defendants, we are looking for a driven individual with strong negotiation skills, who can both work on their own initiative and within a team.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Experience /Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year’s PQE
• Possess previous personal injury experience.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload to include attending Court for hearings, applications and reviews.
• Be highly organised and capable of working in a busy and fast paced environment.
• Be able to work on own initiative.
• Be confident and proactive with regards to business development
• Have good communication/interpersonal skills
• Be flexible and be willing to adapt to a varying workload

Duties

• Provide expert legal advice to clients on various matters, including contracts, property law, and litigation.
• Represent clients in negotiations, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation for clients.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation and relevant case law that may impact clients' cases.
