About this role

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and professional Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) or a Level 6 Licenced Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing freehold and leasehold residential property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and providing exceptional client service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your legal expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of freehold and leasehold residential property transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and other legal documentation related to conveyancing.
  • Dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax, post completion matters and registrations.
  • Providing clear advice to clients on their transaction throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Organising and maintaining accurate case files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
  • Managing deadlines effectively to ensure timely completion of all conveyancing matters.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing practices to maintain high standards of service.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-3 years PQE experience as a Conveyancing Solicitor or Level 6 Licenced Conveyancer.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients.
  • Proficiency in IT systems relevant to legal practice management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time management skills to meet strict deadlines consistently.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
