CROWN COURT EXECUTIVE/ POLICE STATION ACCREDITED REP Derbyshire

Our busy Criminal Department is currently inviting applications from graduate calibre candidates for the following position:

Crown Court Executive/ Police Station Accredited Rep

The role calls for an enthusiastic employee who will undertake primarily Crown Court litigation work under the supervision of the Head of the Crown Court Team. The role would also require the employee to assist with representing clients at the police station both during working hours and outside office hours. You would be joining an established Criminal team in which you could really develop the role and make it your own.

You should ideally have some previous legal sector work experience and Police Station Accreditation would be advantageous, but not essential, as full training will be provided. We would welcome applications from those with, or studying for, the LPC or SQE as there are genuine opportunities for career progression following the successful completion of a probationary period in the role.

The role will be based at our Derby office, with an expectation that the successful candidate will also provide assistance in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be required to participate in a rota to cover out of hours Police Station attendances during the evenings, at weekends and over bank holidays, so a current, clean driver’s licence and access to a vehicle will therefore be required.
