Conveyancing Assistant
Remote (UK ) | North London Office Option | Full-Time
A role for someone already working in residential conveyancing who wants to develop quickly, work in a high-performance team, and be part of a firm that values progression.
If you prefer slow environments, waiting for instructions, or doing the same narrow tasks every day — this probably isn’t the role for you.
We need someone organised, proactive, and confident communicating with clients and third parties who can support the legal team and keep transactions progressing smoothly.

The Role
No two days will look exactly the same.
You’ll be:
- Assisting a Fee Earner across active conveyancing files. Being actively involved in running their files.
- Communicating with clients and third parties professionally and efficiently
- Helping maintain progress on files and ensuring actions are followed up
- Building positive relationships with clients and supporting them throughout the transaction
- Managing administrative and support tasks to keep matters organised and moving forward
Attention to detail and organisation are critical.
What We Need
Someone who can:
- Stay organised while managing multiple tasks
- Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues and third parties
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Work calmly under pressure when deadlines are tight
- Maintain a high standard of client care
Experience Required
- At least 12 months residential conveyancing experience
- Previous administrative or legal support experience (2+ years preferred)
- Strong organisation and time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail
This role would suit:
- A Trainee Conveyancer
- An experienced Conveyancing Assistant
- A Senior Paralegal looking to grow within a fast-moving conveyancing team.
