Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our professional Personal Injury team. This role involves providing essential support to our legal practitioners by managing administrative tasks, conducting analysis, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for detail to assist in delivering exceptional legal services. The post is preferably full time office based in Poulton-Le-Fylde which can offer flexible working hours.

Duties

  • Organising and maintaining legal files and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation
  • Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and reports under supervision
  • Managing schedules, appointments, and client communications efficiently
  • Assisting with the preparation of court filings and submissions in all available Portals
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinating with external agencies or departments as required
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures and deadlines

Experience

  • Previous administrative experience within a legal environment is preferred
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret legal documents and data effectively
  • Proven organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document management systems is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Official Injury Claim /Ministry Of justice and Damages Claims Portal along with experience of the relevant protocols
