Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Tech Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role is central to transforming legal and operational data into actionable insights, supporting digital transformation, and enhancing efficiency across legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Data analysis: Interpret complex legal and business datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
• Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports tailored to legal and compliance teams.
• Process optimization: Recommend improvements for workflows and case management systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with lawyers, IT specialists, and compliance officers.
• Data governance: Ensure adherence to privacy, security, and compliance standards.
• Continuous improvement: Stay updated on emerging legal-tech tools and analytics methodologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within legal, compliance, or technology sectors.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiarity with legal-tech platforms and case management systems.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, NZ Privacy Act).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Law & Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
