About this role

Join our growing legal team as a Wills & Estates Lawyer and play a key role in delivering exceptional estate planning and estate administration services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a diverse caseload focused primarily on wills, trusts, probate, and estate-related matters.

You will work closely with clients to protect their assets, structure effective estate plans, and guide families through the estate administration process with clarity and compassion. If you are detail-oriented, client-focused, and experienced in estates law, we invite you to become an integral part of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and trusts
  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents with precision and clarity
  • Manage probate applications and estate administration matters from start to finish
  • Provide guidance to executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
  • Handle estate-related court filings and correspondence
  • Advise on trust structures and asset protection planning
  • Manage estate litigation matters where applicable
  • Conduct legal research on estates, trusts, and succession law
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure efficient file management and client service
  • Maintain organized, compliant, and timely documentation of all client matters

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Proven experience in Wills and Estates law is required
  • Demonstrated experience drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, and trust documents
  • Strong knowledge of probate procedures and estate administration processes
  • Experience advising clients on estate planning strategies and asset protection
  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills
  • Strong drafting and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in estate litigation is considered an asset
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and client sensitivity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
