Role Overview:
We seek a Transactional Attorney to draft, review, and negotiate contracts on a contractual basis for a technology platform operating in the gig economy. The role involves providing legal support for commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and mitigating risks in high-volume transactions. This work is critical to enabling scalable operations while maintaining legal and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and review commercial contracts, including service agreements, terms of service, and vendor contracts.
• Negotiate contract terms with counterparties to balance business objectives and legal protections.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all drafted and executed agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with contract execution and performance.
• Maintain organized contract records and track key dates, renewal terms, and obligations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Licensed attorney in good standing with experience in transactional law, preferably in technology or commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law, including formation, interpretation, and enforcement principles.
• Experience drafting and negotiating agreements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to analyze complex legal and business issues to provide practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
