Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Paralegal / Legal Operations Manager to support partners and lawyers, mentor junior staff, manage legal operations, and assist with complex legal matters.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Drafting & Research

  • Draft legal correspondence, client communications and legal memoranda.
  • Prepare court documents, pleadings, applications, bundles and supporting materials.
  • Assist with drafting contracts, agreements, policies and corporate documents.
  • Conduct legal research across UAE, Australian and UK legal frameworks.
  • Prepare briefing notes and case summaries for lawyers and partners.

Litigation & Transaction Support

  • Assist lawyers with litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution matters.
  • Prepare court filing documents and hearing bundles.
  • Coordinate evidence, records and supporting documentation.
  • Support due diligence exercises and transactional matters.

Legal Operations & Matter Management

  • Manage legal files, precedents and document management systems.
  • Maintain court deadlines, regulatory obligations and matter schedules.
  • Coordinate communications with clients, government authorities, courts and external counsel.
  • Assist in implementing systems, workflows and process improvements.
  • Support quality assurance and compliance procedures.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Supervise junior paralegals, legal assistants and administrative staff.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Review work for accuracy, consistency and compliance with firm standards.
  • Support partners with practice management and operational initiatives.

Client Service

  • Draft professional client emails and updates.
  • Coordinate meetings, legal deliverables and client communications.
  • Ensure excellent client service and responsiveness at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a law firm, legal department or professional services environment.
  • Strong experience preparing legal documents and court materials.
  • Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
  • Experience supporting senior lawyers and partners.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Highly Desirable

  • UAE law firm experience.
  • Exposure to Australian and/or UK legal matters.
  • Experience supporting litigation, commercial and corporate matters.
  • Familiarity with DIFC and ADGM procedures.
  • Experience managing legal operations, workflows and document systems.
