Name of the Post: Legal Manager (Loan Against Property) Location: Chennai Essential Qualification and Experience Graduate degree in Law, as regular full-time student, from a recognized university. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree in Law shall be given preference. Experience in finance industry, preferably in banking and finance sector, with a proven track record. Proven track record of adding value to an organization through the development of comprehensive contract documents that mitigate risk. Candidate must be familiar with the provisions of the law (Specially IBC / SARFAESI / NCLT / Immovable Properties). The candidate must be fluent in English and Hindi (both reading and writing). Knowledge of additional language would be a plus. Roles & Responsibilities Reviewing finance facility agreements and related documents. Conduct due diligence of properties which the company intends to take mortgage. Provide legal advice or opinion on matters and issues. To provide opinion on Title Search Reports of Immovable Properties. Independently drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing the banking legal documents like loan, security, assignment, securitization, other Finance related Documents etc. and providing ongoing support to business teams. Review and provide legal advice to the business teams with respect to the documentation. Able to manage complete legal documentations with respect to banking transactions. Understand the products proposed by business teams and advise on the legal framework applicable to such products; Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken; How to apply?
